Top 5 AI Tools I Use to Stay Productive in PG Life

🤖 Top AI Tools That Help Me Stay Productive in PG Life

By Pranav Sharma

With noisy roommates, unexpected power outages, shared Wi-Fi, and chaotic kitchens, PG life can be unpredictable. But because of some amazing AI tools, I've been able to remain organized, productive, and even somewhat creative in spite of everything.

These are not just any apps; they are tools that I use on a weekly basis to accomplish tasks, maintain focus, and even expand my blog portfolio (yes, including this one!).

🧠 1. My Thinking Partner, ChatGPT

  • For creating blog headlines and outlines
  • To make difficult subjects easier to understand
  • Even to organize routines or meals when I'm feeling stuck

📌 Bonus: Just having a "virtual" chat with an AI helps me decompress when I'm feeling overwhelmed or confused. It's similar to brainstorming with a never-tired person.

🗂️ 2. Notion AI: A Life Organizer, Notes, and Tasks

  • I keep my blog idea bank up to date using Notion.
  • Monitor your objectives and routines.
  • Initial drafts of blogs

Its integrated AI helps me create content blocks, clean up my writing, and summarize lengthy notes when I don't know where to begin. It's all in one, which is particularly helpful for students or independent artists.

🧾 3. Grammarly: My Free English Instructor

  • Correcting punctuation and grammar
  • Enhancing sentence structure and avoiding awkward words in emails or blog drafts

Although I don't implement every suggestion, I do take them into consideration.

🧹 4. TidyCal (AI Scheduler)

I occasionally assist friends with editing resumes or blog drafts. To schedule calls or study sessions, I use TidyCal (or other scheduling apps like Calendly with AI assistance) to send them a link rather than exchanging endless texts.

  • It is in sync with my calendar.
  • Recommends wise time slots
  • Keeps me from having to deal with erratic PG timing overlaps.

🗣️ 5. Otter.ai: Voice Notes Powered by AI (When I'm Too Tired to Type)

  • I simply speak into it.
  • My voice is transcribed into clear, searchable notes.
  • I later incorporate those concepts into my blog posts.

⚙️ Extra Selections (Based on Your Need)

  • Copy.ai: For short taglines or blog post ideas
  • Google Bard or Gemini: For more extensive brainstorming
  • Canva Magic Write: Assists with AI-generated captions for social media

🧠 Conclusion

While AI cannot completely replace human creativity or deep thinking, it can certainly enhance it. These tools are like having a team in my pocket for someone like me who lives in a PG setup with little time, space, and mental capacity.

Using them doesn't require you to be a techie or coder. Just begin modestly. Your productivity can increase even if you use one of these on a regular basis.

💬 It's Your Turn

What is your go-to AI tool, and how has it benefited you? Or is there a task in your life that you would like AI to simplify?

Simple Morning & Night Habits That Changed My Productivity

The Daily Routine That Keeps Me Grounded in PG Life By Pranav Sharma My days were wild when I initially moved into my PG. Most of the time, I would wake up minutes before I had to go, skip breakfast, and feel mentally hazy. Although it requires discipline, living away from home offers a new type of independence. I've discovered over time that even small routines, particularly in the morning and evening, may have a significant impact on my level of productivity, calmness, and attention. Here are a few minor routines that help me maintain equilibrium in a shared living environment; they may also help you establish your rhythm. Morning Routine: Getting the Day Started with a Goal ⏰ 7:30 A.M: Awaken, but refrain from scrolling As soon as I opened my eyes, I used to check my phone. I now give myself ten minutes to remain motionless. No screens. simply grounding myself, breathing, and stretching. 🪥 7:40 AM: Rapid Hydration + Hygiene I had a large glass of water, brushed m...

10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Moving Into a PG

Moving into a PG for the first time? Here are 10 essential things you must know before choosing your paying guest accommodation, from Wi-Fi issues to roommate tips and food quality. Avoid common PG mistakes and find your perfect stay! 1. “Fully Furnished” Doesn’t Mean Fully Functional Beds may squeak, cupboards may be broken, and fans might sound like helicopters — always check everything in person. 2. Wi-Fi Isn’t Always as ‘Included’ as They Say Yes, the PG might promise free Wi-Fi, but is it fast? Is it stable? If you study or work online, test the connection beforehand, or be ready for endless buffering and dropped Zoom calls. 3. Roommates Can Make or Break Your Experience One awesome roommate is an infinite awesome memories but one terrible will be thedaily stress. Try to meet them before committing and get to know them 4. Food Quality Varies Wildly Some PGs offer homemade food, others serve oil-soaked ready to hospitalise disasters. Ask current tenants and taste the food if ...

My Day in Brooklyn: Street Vibes, Coffee Breaks & Quiet Moments

My Day in Brooklyn: Street Vibes, Coffee Breaks & Quiet Moments By Pranav Sharma Brooklyn is more than just a location. With its street art, food trucks, brownstone buildings, and charming little alleys, it's a vibe that envelops you. Here's what it looked and felt like during my full day of walking through this area of New York. ☀️ Morning: Local Coffee & A Slow Start My morning began in Brooklyn's Williamsburg. Dog walkers, early joggers, and the aroma of freshly baked bagels were still awakening the streets. I hid in Devoción, a small café. The coffee was strong, earthy, and reassuring, and the interiors were lush and green, resembling a miniature garden. I became aware of how simple it is to lose track of time in Brooklyn while I was sitting with my notebook. There is a story around every corner. 🎨 Midday: Movement, Music, and Murals I was strolling past vibrant street art close to Bushwick by midday. Entire buildings were creatively and protestively painted w...
